Accessibility
Everyone should be able to read this site, request an estimate, and reach us. Here is what we have built toward that, and what to do if something gets in your way.
Last updated: July 2026. We are aiming for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on this site. We do not claim to have reached it everywhere yet. When we find a barrier, or you point one out, we fix it.
What's in place
What this site does today
These are built into the site now, not planned for later.
- Keyboard navigation
- Every page can be used without a mouse. Menus, links, forms, and buttons are reachable in a sensible order with the Tab key, and a skip link jumps you past the navigation to the main content.
- Visible focus states
- When you move through the page with a keyboard, the element you are on shows a clear outline, so you always know where you are.
- Reduced motion
- If your device is set to prefer reduced motion, the site's scroll animations and moving elements stay still. Nothing on the site requires animation to be understood.
- Text alternatives
- Images that carry meaning have alt text describing them; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them instead of announcing noise.
- Colour contrast
- Text and interactive elements are built to WCAG AA contrast targets, including the small red text and light-on-dark sections, so content stays readable in bright daylight and for low-vision readers.
